Mud Masks are being used by woman for ages to keep a youthful appearance. Mud masks don’t look very sexy when they’re on your face, but some of them really do clarify your face.
The mud that is being used in mud masks are most of the time mud or clay specifically mined from areas that have few, if any, contaminants. Mud masks are being use to exfoliate skin and remove dead skin cells. Since oil and dead skin cells clog your pores and cause acne, a good mask may actually help prevent acne, rather than leading to breakouts.
Some mud masks are very well known, like GlamGlow, (recently acquired by Estée Lauder, 2014-12-21) and some are less known and less expensive. Because there are so many different mud masks we will also review them and tell you exactly which one work and which don’t.
