This is why intermittent fasting helps you to stay young

By now you have heard about intermittent fasting via friends, but did you know that it also helps you to stay young?

Intermittent fasting is NO diet. It’s a pattern of eating. Or not eating, because that’s what you have to do most of the day.

Why would you start intermittent fasting?

Intermittent fasting is probably the most important methods in weight lost. It triggers the 2 most important hormons in your body.

  1. + Growth hormon -> Protects your muscles, Natural Anti-aging, build lean body mass and to lose body fat.
  2. – Insuline -> This is the hormon that makes you fat. Your insuline will get lower.

Our bodies are not designed to eat all day long. With intermittent fasting you will eat less meals.

How to fast?

It’s easy and time-saving. Oh, it also saves you a lot of money.
Basic rule is: 16 hours of not eating (including sleep) and 8 hours of eating.
Let’s say you wake up 6:30am, you wait 4 hours till 10:30 to eat your first meal. Your last meal is 6:30pm. You can drink water, tea and coffee (without sugar and milk) throughout the day.

What will happen with intermittent fasting?

You will loose fat and you will feel more energized. But it takes about 2 week for the body to adept. After that period, you will start loosing a lot of fat.

  1. This is great information!! I would maybe put a advisory footnote that people with eating disorded pasts be careful on trying out intermittent fasting. As with any shift in eating (for people with anorexia bulemia or other asoc eating disords) fasting can trigger past harmful habits. Again, this is wtih almost any change in eating..when you are not listening to your hunger cues to guide your eating but going by a guideline instead. This is just my personal opinion and loved the article.. I’m not trying g to be argumentative or anything!! Just some thoughts!! Xoxoxo
