Glamglow Glowstarter REVIEW

No, the Glowstarter by Glamglow isn’t a Mask, it’s a “Mega Illuminating Moisturizer” according to Glamglow.

So what doest this new product does? On the website of Glamglow we read that the Glowstarter is “designed to help create a flawless smooth complexion and boost the look of dull fatigued skin.” Sounds impressive but we still don’t no what it does.

Glamglow is the King or Queen in marketing their masks (and now their first moisturizer). Within a couple of years the masks are available worldwide and Glamglow is an instant hit!

The packaging
The packaging looks very, uhhhmm SEXY! But too bad it’s a jar (again). We really prefer a tube, which is far more hygienic and keeps anti-oxidants stable.

The ingredients
I have very mixed feelings about the ingredients of the Glowstarter. They use many good (natural) ingredients, BUT they have mix it with some chemicals, colors and fragrance. Just to get the look (orange color), feel and smell right. Too bad again! But I guess it’s part of their marketing.

Applying the mask, uhhmmm I mean the moisturizer
The Glowstarter smells delicious! You almost want to eat it! WOW!
The application goes very easy, not thick at all and very absorbing! It’s not greasy like some moisturizers are. The application reminds me of so moisturizers of Khiel’s.

The results
The results of this new moisturizing product of Glamglow aren’t shocking but also not bad. It’s a good moisturizer to use if you are searching for a lightweight non-sticky moisturizer.

Conclusion
The Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer is a nice moisturizer to use on daily bases, but would’t be something I would personally recommend as a professional. Just because there are better moisturizers out there that aren’t that “sexy” but are proven.

  1. Didn’t like this moisturizer of GlamGlow at all, very expensive and feels more like a BB-cream.

  2. What are those other products that are less expensive that are like this that you would recommend?
