Jane Wurwand started Dermalogica back in 1983 and the brand has become a major player in skincare worldwide, so it’s about time we test there best selling product on Amazon; “Dermalogica Active Moist”.
Dermalogica claims that the Active Moist is a lightweight, oil-free lotion for daily moisture protection to actively combat surface dehydration and that an unique combination of plant extracts help to smooth and improve the skin’s texture.
We have been using Dermalogica Active Moist for about 4 weeks now. At first we loved the fact that the Active Moist is light and not greasy. But after a while we noticed that it wasn’t hydrating enough. Weird, because most of us don’t have dry skin. An other thing that is weird is that it contains Octyl Methoxycinnamate which is a chemical sunscreen ingredient, which can cause irritations after using a while. I don’t want to use the word “weird” for the third time (oops I just did), but it’s just weird (again) product, because it didn’t do anything for our skin.
We wouldn’t recommend the Active Moist, because there are better an cheaper options if you are searching for a good moisturizer.
