Jessica Alba’s Honest Company is slapped with a whopping $5 million lawsuit.
The honest company is facing a lawsuit after the painful sunscreen-gate. The company would have changed the formula of the sunscreen in March. In addition, the company removed more than half of the chemical substance of zinc oxide, which provides protection against the sun. Nevertheless, the company maintained the designation factor 30 on the label. Therefore children would have suffered burn injuries.
Jessica Alba finally has responded to all allegations. She says that the allegations are “baseless and without merit”. Alba continued her statement, saying “We strongly stand behind our products and the responsibility we have to our consumers. We are steadfast in our commitment to transparency and openness,” she said. “I know my children, Honor and Haven, are growing up in a safer home because of our products.”
We think a $5 million lawsuit is ridiculous and a cheap way to earn some money, what do you think? Feel free to leave your comment below.
