Zalando entering Beauty Market in Europe

The biggest online retailer – Zalando – is entering the Beauty Market in Europe.

Zalando, famous in Europe for retailing clothing online, has decided to soft launch in Germany. The Berlin based company is determined to grow and since the skincare, anti-aging and make-up industry is also getting bigger and bigger, this is a logical step.

Zalando focuses primarily on women. Later this year there will also be products for men. The company sells care products from about 170 brands. There are large companies such as L’Oréal and Maybelline, but also smaller brands that sell natural products such as the Swiss Weleda and MUDMASKY. In June Zalando opens a store in Berlin where customers can view the products in real life.
