It’s hard to find an objective review on the Normalizing Day Oil of Dr. Hauschka on the web, so we decided to do a full review.
The Normalizing Day Oil is a balancing facial treatment for oily skin and Dr. Hauschka claims that it minimizes oil production because when applied and makes pores appear smaller. The skin will sense that there’s sufficient oil on the surface, so it will not produce any excess oil to protect itself. Lets find out.

The Packaging
Dr. Hauschka did an excellent job, when it comes to packaging, no doubt. It’s easy to apply oil with the pump. Very hygienic as well.
The smell
We also love the smell. The Normalizing Day Oil smells like flowers. Not the synthetic ones, but the real deal.
What it did for us
We hate leaving a bad review on this product because we liked the fact that it was based on natural ingredients, but the Normalizing Day Oil just didn’t do the job. The bad part is, instead of balancing the skin, it unbalanced it even more. One woman even noticed tiny hard bumps on her forehand using after using it for over 2 weeks. An other suffered from breakouts.
Conclusion
Nobody liked this product, actually this stuff is horrible. It did not normalize the skin in any way, it made it oilier and more problematic. We have emailed Dr. Hauschka about this problem. We are advising them to discontinue the Normalizing Day Oil.
