Burts Bees started as a joint venture between Roxane Quimby and Burt Shavitz. However, they started with candles since Burt was in the honey business. Nowadays this is a cosmetic brand with several products.
– The packaging
Burt’s Bees Repair Serum with Attar of Rose comes in yellow tube and might give the sensation that is a product for young people only, however I recommend it to use it especially if you are 40+. To me its a little bit confusing.
– The ingredients
Rosa canina can be an expensive ingredient, however, is part of its formula. Why? Just because contains a list of active ingredients associated with anti-aging and skin boosting such as vitamin C. And that is just one of the ingredients, the rest of them several essential oils and even green tea as well as other nutrients. I loved all of them.
– Applying
I use this on my cuticles, to smooth and condition my eyebrows, and sometimes I put some on my forefinger and lightly brush over my eyelashes but I only use at night. I have to add that this is this is actually an oil more than a serum. I can tell you with confidence that if you at night just take two drops over a very slightly damp face and neck will be plenty, then add just a bit extra and give your fine forehead lines a little massage.
– The results
After ten of days of using Burt’s Bees Repair Serum with Attar of Rose, your skin tone will improve a bit, especially more elastic. The downsides
For night time use only and have a pretty strong spicy/herbally scent are the things I disliked, I really love my perfumes and hate other fragrances mixing with my election of the day. Main reason I only use it at nights.
– Conclusion
This serum of Burts Bees is pretty good, except for the smell.
