Make a healthy Chia Pudding in 2 minutes

Chia seeds benefits

Chia seeds have become, by their properties and benefits, the star food of recent years. Chia seeds, a plant of Mexican origin, are an excellent source of essential Omega 3 fatty acids and also provide high amounts of fiber, protein, and calcium. Thus, its consumption helps to reduce bad LDL cholesterol and increases HDL or good cholesterol level. Also, they contribute to preventing cardiovascular diseases, and their use is recommended in cases of diabetes and in people with high levels of stress or who suffer anxiety problems.
Chia seeds are high in Omega 3, potassium, calcium, proteins, iron and antioxidants:
– Omega 3: seven times more omega three salmon
– Calcium: chia seeds have five times more calcium than whole milk.
– Potassium: Chia has twice as much potassium as bananas.
– Proteins: chia has two times more than any other seed.
– Iron contains three times more iron than spinach.
– Antioxidants: contains three times more antioxidants than blueberries

Chia seed pudding is easy to make and very nutritious, as well as being one of the easiest ways to include chia seeds in our diet. To prepare this dish, you will only need to soak the seeds overnight to get the consistency of the pudding. Accompanied by natural fruit or nuts you will get a healthy and light dish. In this practice, we tell you how to pre-prepare a pudding of chia seeds at home
Get one cup of chia seeds, two cups almond milk (you can also use coconut milk, oatmeal, rice or soy milk) and vanilla extract with some season’s fruit.
Now Mix the seeds with the milk.
Pour the almond milk into a bowl with lid and add the chia seeds and vanilla extract. Remove the ingredients, cover the bowl and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. Add the fruit along with the cinnamon.
Until acquires the consistency of pudding adds the fruit. You can combine the chia seed pudding with any seasonal fruit. Also, you can add the nuts to complete the nutritional contribution of this dish. Finally, before serving, do not forget to add on a little of cinnamon.
